Church at Paloma

We don’t just go to church here. We live it here.

Paloma Community Center is the day-to-day community ministry of Paloma Community Church. We serve our community because we believe Jesus calls us to love our neighbors—not because we expect anything in return. No strings attached.

Sunday Services

Every Sunday at 10:30 AM we gather at the Community Center for worship, Communion, teaching and prayer. The service runs until about 12:00 PM.

Sunday at Paloma is meant to be engaging and meaningful wherever you are on your spiritual journey—a long-time believer, new to faith, or simply curious. Music blends timeless hymns with modern worship songs. The heart of the morning is the message, delivered by Pastor Jim from Scripture and meant to be relevant to daily life.

We share Communion every Sunday. Children have their own age-appropriate teaching and activities during the service, so parents can worship knowing their kids are in caring hands. Afterwards, stay and talk—fellowship is part of the point.

First Sunday: Community Breakfast & Bible Answer Time

On the first Sunday of each month we start at 9:30 AM with a community breakfast—a chance to share a meal and connect, just as the early church did.

Then, at 10:30 AM, Bible Answer Time happens during the service: an open forum where you can bring any question about faith, life or Scripture. No question is off-limits. Come with your curiosity and your appetite, and leave with deeper connections and a renewed sense of God’s word in your life.

Can’t make it in person? Send your question ahead of time below.

Ask us a question

Questions are answered during the next Bible Answer Time. We'll only use your email to follow up if needed.

Paloma Table

Paloma Table is where community and connection come together. Hosted at the Community Center, these gatherings are a simple, welcoming way for neighbors, families and friends to enjoy a meal, play games and make memories—one plate at a time.

Experiencing Prayer

Experiencing Prayer gets to the basics: what prayer is, how to pray and what prayer does for you. Most of the morning is spent not speaking—communing with, listening to and being renewed by God.

You’ll hear from Billy Graham and Chip Ingram on video, with time for self-reflection, prayer on your own and prayer together. Then we share lunch. It’s casual and informal: no tickets, and your RSVP is appreciated for planning—but if you can only come at the last minute, come anyway.

Church 24/7: Living, Growing, Serving

Church at Paloma is not confined to a Sunday service. It is a lifestyle—being the church, not just going to church. That approach to discipleship is rooted in three core values:

  • Living in Christ — there is no true life outside of Christ. Real life is in connection to Him and to one another.
  • Growing in Faith — a total trust in Christ to work in every life, empowering each person to become who God intends.
  • Serving Our Community — the natural result of spiritual growth is that people of faith bear the fruit of serving God and others with their talents and gifts.

That is why the day-to-day ministry of Paloma Community Church is expressed through the Community Center: sports, a shared meal, a hand for a neighbor, prayer, or simply being present. We call it a ministry of presence.

Meet the Team

A small team leads Paloma, and a much larger family of volunteers makes it work.

Jim Ball

Lead Pastor

Pastor Jim has been in ministry for four decades and has led Paloma Community Church since 2011, bringing sound biblical preaching every week. Head Chef

With more than 14 years in the kitchen, Josh’s culinary journey took him from his roots in Wisconsin to Arizona, where he found his passion for cooking and met his wife, Kasandra. Josh’s impact at Paloma reaches far beyond the kitchen: through The Local Caterer he is part of the meals and gatherings that bring people together.

You’re welcome here

Paloma isn’t a church that happens to own a community center. We are a church whose day-to-day ministry is serving our community through the Community Center—and on Sunday, we gather together for worship.

Whether you’re exploring faith, returning to church, or looking for a place to grow and serve, come experience the living, growing and serving culture of Paloma.

Living in Christ. Growing in Faith. Serving Our Community.
